- Bio: Phil Carrizzi is the founding chair of the Allesee Metals/Jewelry Design Program at Kendall College of Art and Design. His nationally recognized work explores issues, materials, process, and markets that oscillate between mass produced and one-of-a-kind, trendy and timeless, fashionable and abstract; using subjects and shapes which flow from the personal, political, technical, and absurd. His objects have been featured on the cover of Metalsmith magazine and in numerous exhibitions and publications in the field of jewelry design. He was the coordinator of the artist in residence program at the SIGGRAPH computer arts conference in San Diego in August 2007 and the Chair of the SIGGRAPH Guerilla Studio in 2008. In June of 2007 he traveled to Dubai with Kendall colleagues to represent the 3D programs within the college.
