Developing cultural awareness

All Kendall students take 30 credits of Liberal Arts and Sciences classes designed to hone their analytical skills and to broaden their cultural awareness. Communication courses develop writing and public speaking skills. Philosophy courses develop critical thinking skills. Literature courses nourish the imagination and creativity. Humanities courses emphasize cultural literacy. And we tailor math and science courses such as "The Aesthetics of Geometry" and "Conceptual Physics" specifically to the interests of the artist, illustrating the dependence of art and design on mathematic and scientific principles.
