Employment History
Originally, I joined Kendall as an Admissions Officer in 2004. I’ve also had the opportunity to teach photography courses in Kendall’s Continuing Studies Department.
Educational Background
I completed my bachelor’s degree in photography with an art history minor at Indiana University Bloomington in 2002.
Favorite Achievement
Finding a spouse that needs art as much as I do and has the patience to create collaborative work with me.
Favorite Artist and movement
- Maggie Taylor, contemporary photographer
- Photo-Secession, lead by Alfred Stieglitz and Edward Steichen. Using their 291 gallery these photographers along with several others, gained acceptance for photography as an art form in America along side painting and sculpture.

Kendall College of Art and Design was created by a woman! Mrs. Helen M. Kendall made it known in her will that a design school should be created as a memorial to her husband David Wolcott Kendall.

What is the one thing you do not feel should be represented in a portfolio review?
Poorly cared for work, anything with tears, wrinkles or stains (unless they are purposeful.)
