Master of Art Education
For admissions consideration to the MAE program, applicants should send the following:
- Completed MAE Application.
- $30 application fee.
- Official transcripts from all institutions of higher education.
- Letter of intent outlining proposed artistic goals.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Portfolio of your work in chosen area of emphasis as well as your student's work (labeled with title, size and media). Portfolio may be submitted as slides (must be in slide sleeve) or CD of digital images (Macintosh compatible TIF format). Please include 10 images of your own work and 10 of your student's work.
- Three letters of recommendation from professionals in your field (sent directly to Kendall).
Advanced Studies Certificate in Design and Innovation Management
The Advanced Studies Certificate in Design and Innovation Management is a 12-credit certificate that can stand alone or be applied towards an MBA through Ferris State University.

For admissions consideration to the MFA program, applicants should send the following:
- Completed MFA Application.
- $30 application fee.
- Official transcripts from all institutions of higher education.
- Letter of intent outlining proposed artistic goals.
- Concise artist statement that addresses the philosophical foundation of your work.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Portfolio of your work in chosen area of emphasis (labeled with title, size and media). Portfolio must be submitted digitally via CD or ZipDisk (Macintosh compatible TIF format recommended). Please identify specific format and viewing instructions.
- Three letters of recommendation from professionals in your field (sent directly to Kendall).
