Lifetime Achievement Award
‘67, Interior Design

Darrell L. Wight graduated from Kendall School of Design in 1967. Wight’s design experience has varied throughout his career. From permanent architectural installations to product design and development, Wight has touched the world of design in a memorable way. For the last several years Wight has worked in the film industry designing elaborate sets for some of Hollywood’s most recognizable studios.

Wight’s lifetime of experiences have taken him to locations around the world and have required him to develop his professional skills in many ways. The one constant has been design. It is Wight’s passion for design and his stellar career performance that have inspired his dear friend and former Kendall classmate Mary Laham to nominate him for the Distinguished Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award.
