John O’Neill purchased his first Apple IIe in 1984 at age six, and has been obsessed with the relationship between design and technology ever since. John taught himself multiple web programming languages while gaining his degree in visual communication from Kendall, and received “typographic enlightenment” while on study abroad at Central Saint Martins in London, England. John has been an Adjunct Professor of Design at Kendall as well as the Anderson Ranch Arts Center. John is actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of both AIGA West Michigan and Design West Michigan. John is a founding partner and Creative Director at Conduit Studios, an award-winning local graphic design and branding firm with prestigious national accounts.
It is John’s commitment to community and dramatic early life success that motivated Terence Frixen to nominate him for the Recent Graduate Achievement Award.
