ArtPrize (n):

Copulative compound that is quickly becoming the stuff of legend. The iconoclastic event has disrupted the traditional idea of an art contest, giving ArtPrize visitors a wholly unique way to interact with artistic expression.

But you are not a pedestrian – you are a member of the KCAD community and you know that the most memorable experiences are those that take you inside the action. You have a momentous opportunity to immerse yourself in the inner workings of an organization that is constantly rewriting the rules of what a large-scale art event can be and do – don’t waste it.

Volunteer Opportunity descriptions:

Registration Volunteers

Help ArtPrize visitors make their vote count! As a registrar, you will be signing up visitors for personal accounts from which they can vote. You work with a visitor to set up a voter registration account and then complete the registration process. Experience with working online and working knowledge of Mac computers is a must! Extra training will be required.

Exhibition Volunteers

If you want to get close, real close to the ArtPrize exhibition, this is your chance. Kendall needs volunteers to guard the exhibition, answer general questions about the exhibition, and control the lines within the exhibition. You will have the opportunity to learn a great deal about Kendall's ArtPrize exhibiting artists and their work!

Greeter Volunteers

Join us in welcoming all of our ArtPrize visitors to our beautiful WNF Building (17 Pearl Street)! Positions will include greeting and counting visitors as well as working in the Volunteer Lounge and other fun spaces near and within this amazing building. You will be on your feet, making sure everyone is having a good time and behaving appropriately.
