Welcome Week
The first week of classes in the fall semester is full of opportunities for new students to meet returning students. Each year the Alumni Association and the Office of Student Activities host a “Live Music, Free Ice Cream” event. Fall 2010 will also include a ping-pong tournament, student organization fair, help with the bus system (The Rapid), and more. Watch your College email account for dates, times, and more information.
Halloween Party
Kendall’s Halloween party includes a costume competition like no other. There will be free food, pumpkin carving, and prizes! Watch your College email account for more details.
Bodies of Art
Each spring the Bodies of Art student organization puts together a show that includes fashion, sculpture, sound, digital media, and so much more. Bodies of Art has regular meetings throughout the year. You can become involved by attending a meeting, joining their Facebook group, or contacting Nicole DeKraker at 616.451.2787.
Finals Week Relaxation Events
The Student Activities and Resource Center staff understand what it’s like to endure finals week so we offer you opportunities to take a break. You can get a free massage, enjoy some free food, take part in a relaxation techniques workshop, or stop in the Center to use the Meditation Room.
