Software Ordering

You can now order all your software right here on the Kendall website. You also have two payment options: you may still bill your student account by filling out the new online Student Software Order form, or you may purchase your software with a credit card. Both Credit Card and Student Account orders will be shipped to the address you enter. Software will no longer be picked up in the building. If this is a problem exceptions can be worked out on a case by case basis.

Antivirus

All Windows users (including Macs that have Windows) are required to have antivirus software on their computers. Mac OSX users are also encouraged to use antivirus software as a precaution. There are several recommended options available, including free ones. Please click here for more information and links to software.

Wireless

Kendall has implemented a secure wireless network throughout the college. Find KCADWeb under your airport connections or in your wireless connections list. Connect to it and start up your favorite browser. When you load your browser a Kendall Login page will invite you to login to the Wireless. Use your valid MyFSU login to access the wireless network.

If you forget your password click on the password help link below the login, this should allow you to change your password. If you continue to have problems contact the helpdesk at kcadithelpdesk@ferris.edu or dial extension 1129 from anywhere in the building.

Printing

The old Leonardo printer is gone. Please follow the directions below install the new printer that has replaced it.

Kendall has printers available for students to use for school-related printing. These printers are located throughout the building for each department to use. Room 403 houses new graphics quality color printers for use by the entire College. Please treat all of the College's printers with care and make sure you are printing only what you need.
