I am very happy to share with you that KCAD initiated the search process for the position of Dean of Academic Affairs. The members of the search committee (listed below) were appointed following a College-wide nominations procedure. I am grateful for their commitment to the search, and want to thank Dean of Student Success Sandy Britton and Professor Phil Renato for agreeing to co-chair the committee and provide leadership to this important search process.
KCAD has retained Greenwood Asher & Associates, Inc., an executive search consultant to partner with the search committee to finalize the position description, develop an aggressive national search process, and recruit a robust and diverse pool of qualified candidates. Consultants Jan Greenwood and Kelly Ervin will work in strategic partnership with the Search Committee to advertise this position and to identify and recruit potential candidates for the committee's assessment.
Linked to the left are the Charge to The Search Committee and the Position Profile that was developed by the committee with guidance and advice from Greenwood Asher & Associates.
This website, which is open to the public, will be used to provide regular updates on the progress of the search. Updates will also be presented in other formats at meetings and via campus messages. The Search Schedule Outline indicates the timing for each phase with a goal to complete an appointment by spring for an anticipated start date in the summer of 2017.
