Brian Harper, Assistant Professor of Fine Art at Indian University Southeast, is an artist of many talents and effectively wields many materials, media, and processes. He has exhibited his work internationally in the Korean Ceramics Biennial and is the founder of artaxis.org, an evolving independent network of contemporary artists and their work. This site, which began as a compendium of artists working in ceramics, is now referenced by students, faculty, and professionals around the world!

He is also the artist/creator of "The Open Crowd Project," a collaborative project using 3D scanning and printing technology to create a “crowd” of people printed with 3D printers. The goal of this project is to collaborate with people who may be in different geographic areas, but who are willing to come together and collaborate through an online space.

Individuals with disabilities who require special accommodations to participate should contact the KCAD President's Office at 616.451.2787 x1150 at least 72 hours in advance.
