Wirgau, a facility design manager with Rockford, Mich.-based Byrne Electrical Specialists, is one of nine designers named to the ASID’s “Ones to Watch” list for 2017. According to the ASID, the initiative “aims to create new opportunities for rising leaders and to ensure that diversity is better reflected at all levels of the industry.” Honorees were chosen by a panel of industry-leading professionals who evaluated applicants’ industry impact, career success, professional references, and portfolio quality.

In her nine years at Byrne, Wirgau has worked to facilitate a more robust exchange of ideas between the company’s various project teams. Recently, those her efforts have included designing multi-purpose collaborative workspaces that were constructed in the company’s Rockford and Lakeview, Mich. locations.
