Interior Design Student Wins Honorable Mention
Interior Design major Courtney Wierzbicki took an honorable mention in the The Ghiordes Knot / ASID 23rd Annual Student Creative Space Competition for her rendering of the selected Ghiordes Knot area rug. Her entry illustrated a Zen master bedroom suite that showcased the rug in a clean and sophisticated setting. The Ghiordes Knot Competition is open to students of ASID affiliated schools, and has been held every year for the past 33 years. Kendall’s interior design students have competed annually for more than a decade. The renderings for the competition are all done by hand with the medium of the student’s choice. For this year’s competition, Courtney used a combination of markers and colored pencil on illustration board to best showcase the Zen bedroom of her design.
