Students in the Art History Club student organization at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) recently traveled to Chicago to get up close and personal with some of the city’s most compelling art attractions.

The first stop was the Art Institute, where students toured the Prints and Drawings Room, home to a massive collection of works on paper dating from the present day all the way back to the 15th century.

The students then had a chance to tour the home and studio of artists Nick Cave and Jeffery Roberts, where they met both artists, explored their personal art collection, and witnessed wall decorations being assembled for an upcoming installation.

The Art History Club is open to all KCAD students. Anyone interested in joining is encouraged to contact Art History Professor Dr. Suzanne Eberle.
