News Bites: Sculpture and Functional Art Professor to Help Edit Forthcoming Book “Graphic Clay”
Sculpture and Functional Art professor Israel Davis has been asked to serve as a Technical Consultant for a forthcoming book written by nationally known ceramic artist Jason Bige Burnett. Burnett is a recent Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts Artist-In-Residence who now lives and works in Bakersville, NC.

The book, “Graphic Clay,” is an in-depth technical guide to printing on ceramics, an artistic technique that Davis is very familiar with. As a Technical Consultant, he will be vetting Burnett’s manuscript, offering insight and technical expertise to make sure the text is correct and reads clearly.
