Woodworking Alum to Present

The University of North Carolina Asheville‚??s Craft Studies Initiative will continue its series, ‚??Meet the Maker: Conversations of Meaning with Craftspeople,‚?Ě with a presentation by Windgate Fellowship recipient Dustin Farnsworth (‚??10, Woodworking/Functional Art and Printmaking) on Wednesday, Feb. 23.

Farnsworth‚??s work has been featured in more than 30 shows across the United States, as well as Woodwork Magazine, Sculptural Pursuit, and I.D. Magazine. Two of Farnsworth‚??s pieces were published in ‚??500 Cabinets‚?Ě (Lark Books, 2010).

The Windgate Fellowship is administered by UNC Asheville‚??s Center for Craft, Creativity & Design, located in Hendersonville NC, and is awarded to undergraduate students whose work relates to craft.
