World-Wide: Painting Alum’s Vivid Ballpoint Pen Drawings Showcased by South African Magazine

From Venice to China to the Dominican Republic and beyond, there aren’t many places on the globe where the work of Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) alumnus Nicolas Sanchez (’09, BFA Painting) hasn’t attracted attention.

Sanchez’ mastery of ballpoint pen has been extensively documented in exhibitions and publications around the world, including Colossal, New York Magazine, Vanity Fair, Vogue, and the prestigious Venice Bienale. Now, he can add South African magazine Visi to the list.
