Tara McCrackin is a 1997 graduate and current Assistant Professor of Interior Design. Tara has been practicing in the corporate office design field for the past 15 years and has had opportunities to design showroom and facility spaces for Steelcase, Inc., including the Leadership Collaborative for the executive management team. She also designed the award-winning project WorkSpring, in Chicago, IL. This space pushes the boundaries of collaborative workspaces with state-of-the-art technologies and a heavy focus on hospitality within the corporate environment. Pursuing her passion for the environment, she had the pleasure of working on the Rackspace Headquarters space in San Antonio, TX. This space was awarded a LEED Gold certification. Tara has earned her NCIDQ professional license, and is a LEED AP ID+C professional. She has been teaching for 12 years, bringing her design experience into the classroom in innovative ways. Tara earned a M.Ed from Grand Valley State University.
