Brad Yarhouse believes in world domination through animation!
His work has been shown in festivals and events around the world, including the 2012 International Animation Day and LES 24 HEURES DE L'ANIMATION in Brussels in 2011. Also in 2011, his film Wet Dreams placed 2nd in the animation category at the 11th annual Moving Media Festival at Wayne State University. His commercial work took second place at the 2007 KAFI festival in Kalamazoo, Michigan and he was nominated in the commercial category for the 2009 KAFI. Beyond Freedom, a documentary on which he worked with Trigger Fish, a South African animation company, was nominated for best short of the year at the 2006 Berlin Film Festival.
He has presented papers at the 24th annual Society for Animation Studies conference in Melbourne, Australia and at the Avanca Cinema conference in Portugal. In 2013, his paper on the artist Blu will be published by the peer reviewed journal, Animation Studies (ISSN 1930-1928). His most recent short, The Box, can be seen here.
