Class Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel courses due to insufficient enrollment, with a full tuition refund. Please allow up to four weeks processing time for refunds of payments made by check or cash. These refunds will be issued in the form of a check from Ferris State University, and you will also be required to complete additional paperwork in order for your refund to be processed. Payments made by Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit or debit cards will be refunded immediately to your card.
Withdrawal from Class
There will be a full refund of tuition and fees for withdrawal requests submitted prior to the final registration deadline. There will be a partial (50%) refund of tuition and fees for withdrawal requests submitted after the final registration deadline and up to 24 hours before the class begins. A 50% fee will be charged for course transfers after the final registration deadline. There will be no refund of tuition or fees for withdrawal requests submitted on or after the day of the first class. Please see the preceding paragraph for information on processing and receiving refunds.
Supplies
Supplies for classes are not included in the cost of the course, unless indicated by a supply fee. Photography and computer classes include a lab fee, but additional supplies may be required as well. Course outlines and supply lists will be furnished with receipt of payment. Supply packets for youth classes can be purchased at the Kendall bookstore in the lower level atrium on the first day of each session. Parents of youth students can request a supply packet list by calling the Continuing Studies office.
