KCAD's Continuing Studies classes give you the opportunity to learn more about your area of interest at a college known for its expertise in art. Anyone can be involved! Adult courses are held weekday evenings and weekends. Youth courses are held on Saturdays and weekdays after school.
Inside each of us, an artist lies dormant. Whether you’re looking to develop your existing talents or discover new ones, KCAD has the class that will help you get the most out of your creative potential. From working with fused glass to learning how to throw clay on the wheel, you’ll find the perfect experience to help you find a deeper connection to the things that you hold so close to your chest. Art is an indispensable vehicle through which to view yourself and the world around you, and these classes will enable you to express how you see things in a whole new way.
Everyone is creative, but we all have different ways of sharing our creativity with others. That’s what makes art so powerful. The act of making art gives young people a tangible way to express their unique identity and explore how they fit into the world. That’s why we’ve created some new youth courses that connect children, and teens, in new ways to the world around us: the people, places, things, and especially the wide range of art-making methods and materials that help us express ourselves creatively.
