Learn how to draw characters in the distinctive style of Japanese animation and Manga. -
Watercolor
Learn to paint fun and colorful images of still lives, people animals, and more! Learn basic watercolor techniques, then experiment with special effects. -
Pokemon Block Party
Learn foundation cartooning techniques through the process of Pokemon construction. Start with simple shapes and progress to more complicated ones. You are encouraged to bring in cards to draw from and share with others. -
Drawing the Basics
Develop basic drawing skills through observation of still life, landscape, and people. Work with pencil and charcoal to solve the problems of line, value, form, space, and texture in a composition.

NEW! Intro to Painting
Discover creative ways to paint while learning the basics of color and composition with tempera, acrylic, and watercolor. Make tempera batik paintings, acrylic abstractions, and watercolor animal collages. You will complete a minimum of four paintings to take home and frame! -

Learn to develop your own individual artistic style while drawing Super Mario Brothers characters. -
Clayworks
Use your imagination with clay! Clay's basic pinch and slab pots will be your beginning projects, followed by sculpting and other activities with clay. Firing and glazing will add the finishing touches. -
Caricatures
Learn to see and draw the face in an exaggerated style in pencil and ink with line and half tones. Capture a likeness in a humorous way. Create mood or expression with a simple twist of the pen. Draw yourself or use photos of famous people. -
Fun With Photoshop
Here's your chance to learn to use Adobe Photoshop software. You will learn to draw with pencil and paintbrush tools, change the color or background of a digital photo, create symmetrical pictures, create your own logo, cut, copy, crop, digital photos and more.

Figure Drawing
Experiment with different approaches to drawing the human figure with a variety of media. Problems of composition and proportion will be explored, using clothed models. -
Monsters, Mutants, & Mayhem
A different sort of class where you will study what makes monsters monstrous. Learn to draw monsters already in print, as well as to create your own. Through creative figure drawing explore how to draw characters with mutant powers. Then begin to structure hero versus villain fight scenes. -
Clayworks
Feel your imagination with clay! Clay’s basic pinch and slab pots will be your beginning projects, followed by sculptures and other activities with clay. Firing and glazing will add the finishing touches. -
Star Wars: Using the Power of the Force
Work with the imaginative force inside of you! Focus on the machines and mechanics of vehicles and spacecrafts, along with characters and creatures, landscapes and structures. You will be encouraged to develop your own drawing skills and personal style.

Learn to draw fantasy creatures such as dragons, wizards, and warlords. -
Sculpture Marathon
Test your endurance with art in this new sculpture class exploring several unique sculpture mediums, and learn about artists who have created existing sculptures as you learn the techniques. Create a new sculpture each week including: paper sculpture, kinetic wire sculpture, wire self-portrait, plaster cloth sculpture, plaster molds, and clay sculpture. -
T-Shirt Art
Tie-dyeing is not the only way to create unique T-Shirt designs. Learn techniques like pastel painting, marbling, photography on fabric, and more! Design your own stamp so you can keep stamping at home. Six T-Shirts will be completed and are included in the supply fee. -
Photographing Your Pet
Capture the colorful character of your family pet with your camera. You will learn how to use lighting, basic composition, and creative portrait techniques to show the many faces of Fido. The skills you learn will be applicable to future photographic endeavors. A digital point and shoot camera is required, and you must be a pet owner. All types of pets are acceptable. Please bring your digital camera, but not your pet to class! -
Equine Art
Learn how to transform the beauty and expression of the horse onto paper using graphite pencils. You will learn to use value, line, and composition to achieve the goal of a realistic portrait. The problems of selecting visual material, and developing each horse’s individual character will be your focus.

Enhance your ability to draw male and female superheroes in a variety of settings. Add power to action poses by learning how to illustrate muscle definition, motion, and character interaction. No prior comic drawing experience is required. -

Art for Biology Lovers
Study and draw animals, arachnids, and amazing plants. You will learn about the anatomy of all the cool things that crawl and walk and look pretty. You will also learn basic drawing skills which you will be able to use in future art endeavors. -
How to Draw Dragons
Explore the legends and myths surrounding dragons and how they are represented on television, in books, and movies. Then, learn how to illustrate these gigantic creatures using pencil, ink, and colored pencil.
