Gallery Talk | Jason Alger
In conjunction with the Focus on Faculty | Sabbaticals Exhibition
Gallery Talk with Jason Alger
11:30 am in The Fed Galleries @ KCAD
A sabbatical is a period of leave granted to college faculty. KCAD values the work of its faculty and sabbaticals are essential for professors to develop new bodies of work or to deepen and enrich their teaching practice.
Sabbaticals give faculty time to conduct in-depth research and to incorporate up-to-date approaches to their teaching disciplines. They allow faculty to maintain innovation in the classroom and to share new practices with the college. The results from recent KCAD sabbaticals will be shared in this exhibition of new work and a related series of lectures. Each professor will discuss their academic research and sabbatical experience.
Please join us to hear from Jason Alger, Graphic Design faculty member, as he discusses his work and recent sabbatical.
